We had an unforgettable stay at this stunning property, surrounded by breathtaking views and abundant wildlife. the spacious rooms had lovely decks and offered peace and tranquility. the friendly staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, sharing their knowledge and making us feel like part of the family. the delicious food, including afternoon tea and snacks, was a highlight of our stay. Plus, the fantastic trails around the lodge allowed us to encounter zebras, kudus, and impalas. It truly was an experience we will cherish.

Remote location requires an SUV or jeep due to rough roads.

We had an amazing stay at Fugitives Drift Guest House. the accommodations were excellent, with stunning views and a lovely garden where we spotted Impala wandering around. the food and service were top-notch, and we felt well taken care of by the knowledgeable and friendly staff. We were upgraded to the main Lodge, which was luxurious and had attentive staff who went above and beyond to make our stay special. the highlight of our visit was the battlefield tours, led by brilliant and engaging storytellers who shared captivating stories from both the British and Zulu perspectives. Communal dining allowed us to meet other interesting guests and staff. Cons: Don't have any issues at all. 😊.

Mind-blowing tours with the best guides, free WiFi , delicious meals, and a pool to cool off after all that learning. Cons: I mean, who needs safety features? Fire extinguishers and first aid kits are just overrated, don't you think? So unnecessary.
